Yes, I listened live to the CC. In the acquisition CC she also extended a hand to SUE management to negotiate a deal. I agree with you that this presents the best win-win scenario.

Not certain how it all works out, just hope that the attorneys that run SUE aren't afflicted with the typical "lawyer flu" and want to fight on at all costs. It will be interesting to see how CMM's strategy of posting the Court documents on the web affects investors. If things start to go against SUE, perhaps investors will pressure management to salvage something? SUE doesn't have the resources to keep fighting for years, investors have to be fatigued from 5 years of legal fights and one has to wonder why anyone would sign up to give SUE funds for more fighting?

Ironic thing is that one has to wonder what it would have cost SUE in 2002 to renegotiate the deal? Even if they had to pay double or triple for the property, by now they could have been operating a nice 100,000 opy mine with such nice cash flow that the payment price would have been a distant memory.

All of that said, CMM still needs to perform on its existing properties! It needs some cash flow. To get there they needs some good engineering and need it fast! The addition of Shahuindo will only increase the need for good engineering.
