Bloomberg isn't screwball like Perot was and if he entered the race he'd do it wholeheartedly and with cash up the wazooo.

If nothing else, he could force both the Party Candidates to do more than just pay lip service to fiscal responsibility.

He might get the election away from all the sickening partisanship we've seen in the last couple of elections and back to a discussion of the "hard facts" and "hard decisions" that will have to be made.
