I don't understand. Why would giving company stock to employees be a mistake? It seems that by making their employees shareholders like us, it would benefit the bottom line and that's increased efficiency and performance as well as a desire for their employees to come up with innovative ideas in design, management, etc. Enlighten me if I am wrong.
