Harris Stratex Networks Appoints Patrick Murtha VP & GM of Network Operations

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., June 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Stratex Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSTX - News), the leading independent supplier of turnkey wireless network solutions, has named Patrick Murtha vice president and general manager of network operations for the company's NetBoss® business unit, based in Melbourne, Florida. He will report to John Koenig, vice president of product line management for Harris Stratex Networks.
With over 30 years experience, Mr. Murtha brings an extensive leadership background to Harris Stratex Networks, having worked in a variety of telecom environments, from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups that led to IPOs. Most recently, he was president of U.S. operations for Indian telecom solutions provider Tech Mahindra Limited, where he formed a U.S. operations team consisting of sales, marketing, human resources, delivery and finance. His efforts led the company to 212% revenue growth in FY 2006.

Prior to Tech Mahindra Limited, Mr. Murtha was vice president and general manager for the Telco Vertical Market Unit at Remedy/Peregrine Systems. His early experience includes positions of increasing responsibility with US West, Sprint, Cellular Inc., Telular Corporation and Mobile Systems International. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in technical management from Regis University. |
