Kirk, Ceres is no more starting tomorrow. On October 6, Ceres Securities, Inc., eBroker, and K. Aufhauser & Company,Inc. combine into one company -- Ameritrade. Although these companies were in reality all owned by the same company in the past, perhaps by combining all operations of 3 separate companies into one, it might improve the faults, that Ceres had. One thing that will changed tomorrow is the price structure for trades. For Market orders the charge will be $8.00 for Internet trades, $12 for Touchtone trades, and $18 for a live representative. It will cost an additional $5 for limit, stop and stop limit orders.

Since Datak is now available in Florida, I was planing to switch to them from Ceres. However, I will first see if Ameritrade executions and confirmations improved vastly. If not, I still plan to try out Datak.
