Wow!! So now you're saying Ahmadinejad's plan is to provide a technology to the Iranian people that we don't even have widely available in the US?
Why should he paying the US for the technology. Unless the US' concern is to for him to buy the technology from them. If the US reduces it own oil consumption, they would not be in the ME to start with. Are you in favor of being dependent on oil?
Who's going to pay for the upgrade to Iran's electrical grid so all of those cars can be plugged in?

Really now.. this is just ridiculous.

listen, if the US wants war, the US will do anything and say anything to get that war. Do you remember the WMD's?

As was previously mentioned, Ahmadinejad has done literally NOTHING to increase the production of refined petroleum products in Iran, DESPITE the fact that such technology is FAR LESS sophisticated (or dangerous) than nuclear power.
Why depend on oil when 1) It can be sold and generate revenue 2) one day it will run out. Maybe there is planning involved here, the USA planning is to fill Dick's friends pockets.

But let's be real about this.. if they were ONLY pursuing peaceful production, then WHY HIDE that fact for 18 years?
Come on, 18 years, they should have the bomb by now. Do I hear the drums of war drumming.
Why not just come out and say that, not only are we contracting with the Russians to build a nuclear reactor, but we're building our own enrichment facilities. Under the NPT, they HAVE that right to do so, under the terms of the NPT and subject to inspection.
They did, but Israel wants the US to go to war with Iran. Many people, countries, the UN said that Iraq did not have WMDs, yet the premise of the invasion of Iraq was WMDs
This is the same problem we saw with N. Korea, and the next thing we know, they're attempting to detonate nuclear weapons underground, albeit with limited success
The US will get an F in diplomacy. Yes the previous administration negotiated with NK and promised them food, fuel and money and they never delivered. Negotiate, diplomacy works if you do not wave a stick. Both parties knows that you have a stick but you do not need to wave it and be arrogant about it.
