Considering that movie was made in 1953, it sure was ahead of its time. Yes, the Glen's and Glenda's of then and now are in a pickle. Apparently it was a bit of a problem even way back when. You would think one long flowing robe was the same as the other.. maybe it was the colours and fringes. From Deuteronomy: 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
