Presume you'll be switching to cable, Dan, b/c I don't believe the S3 TiVo works with DirecTV service. At this point, you pretty much have to go with their NDS designed HR20 if you wish to receive MPEG4 HD feeds. Hopefully, the rumors circulating that TiVo may extend its licensing deal with DirecTV will prove accurate, & that once Malone takes control of DirecTV from Murdoch, management will soon thereafter dump NDS & its POS HD DVR in favor of a TiVo machine.
