When Iraq was one secular nation, Turkey and the Kurd regions of Iraq had the same problems they are facing now, with one hitch. When the Turks weren't invading the Kurdish regions and annihilating Kurds, Saddam was doing it. Now there is no Saddam Regime, so the Turks are demanding the American Military pick up the Saddam role of putting down the Kurd rebels. If we don't they are warning that we should expect the Turk Army to cross the border like the good ole days.

Your resolution doesn't seem to address the reality of the current crisis.
