Let's take the liberal equivalent of said myths:

MYTH 1: Freedom of religion means freedom FROM religion.
MYTH 2: Liberals tend to be patriotic because they are not afraid to criticize their own government. Conservatives tend to prefer blind faith over intellectual discussion.
MYTH 3. The US has a right-wing media. Just look at the popularity of Rush, Hannity, and Coulter.
MYTH 4. The US sucks. Health care sucks, education is a joke, the economy is in the crapper. All we know how to do is lob bombs at innocent civilians.
MYTH 5: The US government loves to bully and steal from other countries and make them suffer needlessly.

Sound familiar? This stuff is also mentioned on this thread almost every day.
