I saw that come off the African Coast Monday morning and now surprised how well it held together.Water temps off Cape Verde are about 65 - 70 degrees and a very strong westerly shear very common for June. This wave is impressive for sure but no way can survive those conditions. If Cape Verde stays active then look for those storms to develop in a month to 6 weeks from now. There has only been one June Cape Verde storm since records have been kept
