Google acquire Peakstream, for server network power to serve customers better? This is the trend for using multi processors more efficiently, synchronized atm by realtime thread asssignment. the data transferred is done without downtime(zero wait state) overhead. ARRS group has to study media and its data compression schemes in addition to the best data compression used in disk storage, PRML. Compounding data compression layers is the area to study. Then you can see that Peakstream is very limited in what they can do. They are still working within the network communications(multiplexer and Qam) and multiprocessing(multicored apus) area? Virtual data center(relay station) may use ISP server storage, same as Microsoft always had done.
