What is really funny is how everyone went apeshit with Dr Atkins when he said forget calories, watch carbs and sugars. Well if you go to the governments own diabetic web site it in essence is telling diabetics to eat the Atkins diet. One of the things he says early in his book is do your food shopping on the perimeter of the store and avoid the boxed stuff in the center. It's a healthy way to shop.
