Werner,
I will continue to re-evaluate my position as well, but if you consider phase chage, and compare it to Mirrorbit, not as a technology, but the path from the lab to the handsets, the journey took years of working out the bugs, making it viable, getting initial design wins, and ramping from there.
I think it will be well beyond 2008 for phase chage to get there (if it ever goes anywhere).
The way it can affect Spansion in the medium term is the FUD factor. If phase change is seen as the next big thing, it may have a negative effect on Spansion stock price, even while Spansion regains its position of #1 in NOR market (ahead of former #2 + #3)
