I don't believe that the Indian Agreement is the only opportunity for Thorium Power. It would be helpful to be involved with the Indians but it is not necessary. And the Russian research is certainly important. I believe there is less likelihood of a problem there. But even if those two situations sour there are other opportunities arising in Norway, Canada, Australia and the US to name just a few of the countries that have had 'Thorium' press in the recent months.

As DD has said, the biggest problem is what to do with waste, both reactor waste and weapons waste. At the same time the industry is facing a shortage of fuel. Thorium Power sits at an opportune point in the dynamic.

My feeling is that any movement is going to appear relatively small. Thorium Reactors are decades away. Use of mixed use fuels is much more relevant. Just dealing with waste is an issue that is expensive enough to make Thorium Powers solutions very economical and attractive.
