A man I spoke to at the gym today is a economist..world traveler,muscician and avid fitness buff. His predictions: The stock market is buoyed up by talk of the military industrial complex building bases,striking Iran and all the right wing hype. The Democrats are no better as they have not done anything about our debt of two billion a week . We have the lowest poverty level in years.. It's the rich get richer and the children and middle class suffer. We are in debt to China up to the kazoo. We are now alienating Russia instead of trying to win over Putin to be sympathetic if nothing else to us. We are despised in most of the world. He travels...... Spending is out of control in government. And there is more and more government instead of less. Poking into our lives more and more and eavesdropping on it's citizens. WE have troops in every part of the world we have ever fought in, Saudi Arabia,Kuwait,South Korea,Cuba etc. Why don't we get out... We have ceased to take care of our border's own security and are spreading ourselves too thin. It's a dangerous environment right now not so much from terrorists but from our own government. HE IS A REPUBLIAN. Voted for BUSH.. IS Jewish and his remedy for the Middle East which he says WILL NEVER BE RESOLVED.. is to take a State like Montana and bring Israel all over her. Then we will have the best minds in the world working for us and peace and security with the Palestinians.. He spoke for 20 minutes while I listened. We both agreed that Ron Paul is the sanest of the Republicans and he says he has been a fiscal conservative for years but no one listens to him I came away refreshed that a Right Winger like this could spell it out.. This is how it is..sadly to add.
