Funny- Iktomi and I were just talking about Ron Paul this morning. I didn't know much about him, but went to his website to see his positions, and I find I am in agreement with many of them (being fairly conservative fiscally but having strong libertarian leanings). I just don't see how he can separate himself from the pack and get the nomination, though. Right now, I can't stomach any of the leaders in either party. I bet the man you talked to represents many, many conservatives who feel betrayed by the Rep party and Bush. But voting for Hillary or universal health care is going to create a terrible dilemma for them. I have no idea which way I will go- I know which ways I don't want to go, but that includes pretty much all of them.
