Bill responded:
<<One more thing that strikes me as odd is the degree of emotion and outrage expressed by Y2K believers whenever a skeptic questions their claims. Simply take a look at some of the responses elicited by my comments. It's worse than publicly criticizing the Church of Scientology!!>>

I'm sorry Bill. I did not intend to express, and certainly do not
feel, any outrage.

Bill further offered:
<<When people resort to hyperbole and ad hominem attacks to defens their position, it's usually a very good sign that their position has little or no merit.>>

Yes, I see. Such an admission takes courage. Good for you.

To any serious investors:

I am interested in and somewhat knowledgeable of the
(real, I believe) Y2K problem and the (also real, I believe)
overvaluation of many (not all) Y2K stocks. I also have
no agenda other than to find attractive investment
opportunities (probably short) through an objective, honest
dialogue on this subject with knowledgeable people.
If there is sufficient interest perhaps we could form a
new board with a more appropriate name. Let me know.
Thanks.
