OK, there was a "machine recount", basically the same as the original count. But the hand recount ordered by the FSC was derailed by the USSC. Timeline: archives.cnn.com re: I did not agree with the FSC decision, nor did I agree with the USSC decision. Two wrongs don't make a right. What did you want appointment by Clinton? It doesn't matter if you agree with the the FSC, they had jurisdiction bestowed by the US constitution. States rights is not a "red herring", especially wrt elections.
