I was sick a couple of days and then felt some better, but my nose was running profusely and I started coughing. Dr. suspected bronchitis and gave me an antibiotic which I could take, also sent cough medicine and I have been taking Benadryl off and on and that has certainly helped with the runny nose. I have one more doctor appointment the end of this month for this year and don't expect any bad news. All my other appointment doctors have said I am doing great. I celebrate my sixth anniversary of being free of colon cancer in September and am so thankful for that. My energy level has been affected by this recent episode and I hope that does not last much longer. Staying positive that all of this will come to a completion before our 57th wedding anniversary the 28th of this month. OMG, it's hard to believe and wonder at how all those years passed so quickly and how much we survived getting here. We are still best friends, keep no secrets from each other and never end a conversation without saying "I love you" to each other and also our children. He also leaves love messages for me when I am still sleeping and he has to go to work. Praying our health will prevail and we will make our 60th and plan to have a big party then or I should say a Big Blast to celebrate it. He has taken care of me and our family very well and we all adore him. We are leaving in the morning to go to San Antonio for a seminar and celebration in honor of my husband's birthday again. It is actually a fund raiser for this organization. So after tonight I will be off line until Sunday night. My birthday is Sunday and he is going to take me over to the L'auberge du Lac Casino in Louisiana Saturday evening for the night for us to celebrate it. I like to gamble and go every chance I get. It is a beautiful hotel and the food is excellent. Just hope my luck still holds and I win again. My family calls me "Lucky Lady" and I feel lucky to have survived all the problems I have had these last five years and welcome any more luck that comes my way. I have gambling money left from the last time I went so I expect to have a good time....win or lose as I am playing on their money and I know they want it back. <gg> Usually I buy something with my winnings but the last time I went and won I decided to keep it for the next time and now the next time is here. I surely hope to double what I take and then go shopping when I return home. My wish list is ready. <g> I will be back at my computer Sunday night and hope everyone has a great weekend.
