Re: "The President of Afghanistan is not the CIA, MI6, Stratfor etc."

NEVER said he was.

(I listed them one by one, all separately, as different sources.)

Re: "Do you think Musharraf supports the Taliban?"

I think Musharraf supports Musharraf. And, he wouldn't be in power/can't stay in power, without the support of a lot of Generals in the military and the I.S.I. --- and a goodly number of them have spent nearly their entire professional careers building and supporting the Taliban... and, they ain't gonna quit now. Especially not when they still firmly believe that it is in the NATIONAL INTEREST of PAKISTAN to do so.

(So, it's not just religious fervor or crass politics or greed, although all of those do play in to many motivations, with many of these guys --- it's Nationalism, too.)

I also notice that, to this very day, Pakistan STILL refuses to let the US even interview the great nuclear proliferator A.Q. Khan --- and they certainly refused our requests that he be arrested and tried... the guy lives under putative 'house arrest', but in Palatial digs, and is still treated as a national hero by the press and government.
