Hard to know what to think about this company that once looked so promising (E*Trade profile below):. Sense Holdings, Inc. (Sense) designs, develops, manufactures and sells fingerprint-based identification products and systems that incorporate biometric technology to verify a person's identity. Sense has developed two turnkey integrated applications that incorporate its BioClock hardware platform. The CheckPrint T/A systems are designed primarily for use by employers who desire to verify the presence of employees at the workplace, and to monitor their time and attendance at work. The CheckPrint A/C systems are designed to permit access to locked buildings, offices or other secured areas only to selected individuals, whose identities can be verified using the Company's fingerprint identification software. Sense also sells other goods and services, such as a desk top finger sensor, a desk top finger sensor with a smart card reader built into the desk top unit, software developer's kits and database management tools.
