One question that never seems to be answered by the Y2K believers...

If the Y2K problem is so overwhelming, why haven't we seen any evidence of it NOW? Just exactly what is so magical about 1/1/2000 as a "deadline". In other words, people have to do millions of calculations on post 2000 dates right now and have been doing so for many years. Why haven't these scam companies come out of the woodwork earlier to help save our collective butts?

By the way, your last post clearly demonstrated what I was trying to point out, i.e. the sense of outrage and the emotion behind this non-issue. Ever run into true believers in Amway or free-energy machines?
