I agree with you in that it is wise to be skeptical without really solid evidence. I was told the name of the fund but I am afraid I have forgotten it (it was not a big name fund that I immediately recognised) but I will contact my source again and post as soon as I get a reply. It does seem from the press release that they could have a new technology which they could sell but I wonder if they are not asking too much for it. However, there are not many trading shares out there and if a serious contender appears the move in the stock price could be explosive. I am considering as a good bet with limited downside at the moment and I am prepared to wait 3 to 4 months to let the play develop or die.
