Wow - this thread is why I invest in the stock market. This is fun! I am an engineer and have been watching the Y2K problem for about two years now. Topro definitely has my vote of confidence... Through purchases of my own and and those of friends, I have generated about 40,000 shares of purchases ( @ around 6 ) I have a good feeling about this company ( I bought Iomega at 4 way back ) IMHO, as a newbie lurker, I would hold on to this babey - it feels like a volcano ready to blow. I had the same feeling about IOM and turning $8,000 to $600,000 is not a bad ROI!

Slightly off subject - You all seem to believe in this company and therefore believe that the Y2K problem is a huge one... Have you considered the impact that this problem could have on your life? If so - what sort of precautions are you planning on taking? My belief is that the stock market is a pretty frail house of cards. Sort of a Emperor's Clothes type of thing. It is largely based on perception. What would happen if the perception was that stockholders money was not safe in the market - or in banks for that matter?

The odds of getting killed while skydiving are 1 out of 80,000. I'll take those odds any day. Come Jan 1st, 2000 (or 1900 or 1954 or 1987 or whatever date our electronics see fit to make it )I'll be jumping out of a plane in the California desert...

Luck to all us long on Topro ( well - sorta long...)

John
