Monte, Any thing that was done underhanded during the WW11 was under a democrat. You seem to forget that FDR goaded the Japanese to bomb Perl Harbor in order to get us in the war. None of his policies were solving the Great Depression and he had the entire Pacific Fleet to go to Pearl, which was the worse thing he could possible do, and it cause the lives of many brave young men.

He caused the deaths of more people on that Sunday than all of the lives lost in Iraq in a single day.
