The cost of healthcare for illegals in L.A. County is astronomical. That is one of my primary areas of concern. That article glosses over it. The article also makes the assumption that illegals are paying taxes. It fails to take into account all the untaxed cash payments. The bottom line is that we need to control the inflow and ensure that people who come here do comply with our laws. That is the only way to ensure that the projections in your articles come true. I'm not buying the projections at this point because they are based on assumptions which haven't been established. In the law the objection would be, assumes facts not in evidence or incomplete hypothetical....
