My partner graduated his kid from the U this weekend. It poured during the ceremony, and the majority of people were not under cover. Speaker was Dem. Congresscritter Norm Dicks. Apparently, the speech was so bad, people in the stands started stomping their feet and booing. The speech was all about Norm, and ended up with a comment about how Norm and his good friend Algore are going to clean up the environment. Retch. archives.seattletimes.nwsource.com
