Ahhh - more hype. The Tillamook can't hold a candle to the new AMD K6+.

When the K6+ is introduced, it will blow the doors off Tillamook.

AMD will sell this so cheap, these notebooks will be almost free. The K6+ is already sampling. Erika Klauer, Drew Peck and Mark Edelstone all have K6+ Compaq computers for evaluation. Battery life is so good, that none of them have discharged their batteries yet.

Don't you get a charge out of that?

As for typical battery life - I get "ALMOST" 2 1/2 hours on one charge for the Lithium-Ion battery on my 166 MHz Pentium MMX Sony with active matrix display.

Not real good - not real bad.

Four hours is much better.
