Its the wrong publicity going around. Pundits offering opinions not related to CMGI fundamentals.

The company is really very simple. You use their supply chain software, you make more profit and deliver faster to handle more volume. So, the business is pretty much putting one foot in front of the other, landing more customers.

Venture capital investment gets the management to understand more of the demographics in other business than technology. Which will help management land more customers in other sectors of the business world than computer business. Their recent gasoline involvement will give them insight into energy supply chain processes, and I expect landing some new customers in the energy field.

But they have to watch out, HPQ has cameras and they lost Kodak because of competition aspect. However, Kodak has big business supplying US supermarkets with disposable film camerss. CMGI can still get the supply chain software done for film cameras(fuji as well).
