They hate Bush so deeply they simply can't give credence to anything that legitimizes the Bush Presidency. If we're preventing terror attacks before they happen, then Bush will be seen as having success in protecting us (Job #1 for a President).
You have a point. Can you IMAGINE their screaming if the plan had NOT been thrated? Even if it failed?

That's why they do everything possible, including blatant acts of treachery, to thwart anything Bush tries to do, even if it harms national security & places our troops & citizens at risk in the process.
Like insisting on telling the enemy when they will win? OR that they will win if they kill enough troops in August, they win because that gives the Dems reason to cut off funding in September? That?

Take anything that Bush supports & libs oppose. Take a good look under the hood. What is almost always found? Lib lies, distortions, misrepresentations often to the point that its mind numbingly obvious this isn't a normal case of the opposition party offering reasonable alternatives. More often than not it smacks of seething, unbridled hate & a desire to derail or destroy any initiative Bush supports by any means necessary.
Could be worse. Lurch could be Prexy.
