Becky,
I have read from other poster at other sites of a mercury problem. I have researched this to death and can find nothing with any credibility. Is there any way you can post a source? It is my understanding that the tailings are inert enough to be used as backfill in some of the shafts. I would not think that would be allowed if some heavy metal were present.
