I certainly can't answer your questions, but I do think the human mind is capable of contemplating such issues. The great astrophysicists, eg Einstein, and currently Steven Hawking, are just two. They each have a large number of contemporaries....
I don't think it is necessary to throw up our hands and since I can't understand it, it must be the work of something supernatural....that, I find difficult to contemplate.
