Recently market makers lost their directions, because of summer vacation for small investors; volume drop down to half at times. You can see the indexes and stocks all move in the same direction in any trading session. No sector rotation or earnings convictions to guide the market trend.

Instead, the daily wishes were only interest rate going up or down. In fact, interest rate is a monetary policy. If liquidity is tightened, then a recession is expected. If the equity market is fully invested, then liquidity is already tight. Interest rate increase is not likely; if Feds do it, they have to have more cash ready to bail out Wall street crashes. We expect that liquidity crunch to happen in October, even without interest rate moves.

So, CMGI got lost in this shuffle. But the next two quarters will be good for CMGI building up for the Xmas season; earnings will be impressive. iPhone and Nintendo's will lead the charge, hope CMGI can land one of these customers?
