This is a recipe for stagflation -- a falling dollar, rising interest rates, rising inflation (meaning a persistent trend towards higher prices in US dollars), and a slowing economy. The culprit being a surging global economy and poor monetary policy at home? Is there any remedy or is it simply time to pay the piper?
