Hurrikane stocks....I know you didnt ask me but I'm going to spell out my beliefs anyways!!

Too many folk are expecting hurrikane stocks to jel with the forecast season of more and more furious hurrikanes predicted this year that the stocks may not react as well as they have in past years. More shorts/hedge funds are on these now.

Specific stocks I follow are HSOA and IPII ..... both involved in the major hurrikane paths and both involved in re-construction, clean-up, and specialty construction. Trouble is, HSOA is suspect due to mis-worded and mis-guided PR's lately. Also, there is a certain investment site that has really clung onto HSOA in a negative perspective really helping to pummel the stock lately. IPII is a thinly traded stock and I have to think after the recent run to $30 the shorts came in and havent let go....at least the professional shorts. Smaller cap plays like the ones Lexi mentioned just dont have the PR nor the attencion of Wall Street (or my street...Neptune Ave) to draw in the buyers.

So, I may be wrong and I may be right. Thats my opinion and its probably only worth the pasta I am planning to dine on for dinner!!!

Jane:-)

PS....of course, the overall markets play amajor role in the performance of these stocks too.
