Is globalization working?

Oh, it's working, all right. And like all other human progress, it happens in "fits and starts." We can slow it down with protectionism, etc, but we can't stop it. As much as Salafi Muslims and others would love to do so. The history of human progress has always been a fight between those that will take advantage of the opportunity to make a buck and those who like "progress" but hate "change." :>)

This rapid increase in human happiness made possible by Industrialization/Globalization is only about 200 years old. The people living in 1807 were much closer to the same standard of living as those living in Rome in 0007 than to us.

I was referring to the fact that the number of Indians in India who fit our technical needs are finite. The reason you see companies in India opening up offices in Mexico is an attempt to get cheap technical labor that they are running out of in India.
