Steve, Fuchi this is your drive, it doesn't make a sound.. even at spin up.. it's SILENT! How do you know that the FUJITSU HD is silent? I thought that you have another 3 HD in your system. ;-) The 1.2GB HD in my son's system is Fujitsu. He has been using it since early 1996 and never has any problem with it. I am still considering to get IBM 6.4GB. IBM HD get the top rating from Taiwanese PC hobbyists.
