RE: if shoppers see that the difference between an Olevia and Sony television, sitting side-by-side in a store, is just $100 or $200 then they will be more likely inclined to purchase a popular and reputable brand name like Sony rather then a relatively new and unfamiliar brand like Olevia.

I've seen a SONY next to an Olevia, and believe me -- the picture on the Olevia was a LOT better. Colors were brighter, the clarity was better and the skin tones looked more natural. I'll bet if they covered up the brand names, side by side, people would choose the Olevia over the SONY.
