Curiosity of course.....without curiosity we are essentially brain dead. We would still be living on a flat earth, still believe the sun orbited around the earth. We would have created nothing and would still be living in caves... We would still think an eclipse was caused by some monster eating the moon or sun.... Every discovery leads to new discovery, every invention leads to new inventions..... As a religious person, do you think God put us here to remain stupid??? Finding life elsewhere in the universe would be the most exciting thing in man's history. It might scare the hell (maybe literally) to find life in even the most simple form and based on recent discoveries it likely life of some form will be found within our own solar system...
