The drunk driving laws are complicated. A friend was at a local tavern/restaurant and had an altercation with a guy in the next booth when the guy hauled off and hit his woman friend.

My friend didn't like that one bit and confronted the guy, hitting him with his cane.

The fight ended, so friend went out and sat in truck to wait for cops to arrive. He hadn't even put the keys in the ignition, but was sited for drunk driving because he was sitting in the drivers seat.

Is that how it is in this state?
