Ted, I also forgot to mention the impact English has on incomes. Most Asians are very book smart and have better English grammatical skills than everyone else, but when it comes to real-world communication, they still fall short. Doesn't help to be a genius if you can't communicate what you know to the rest of the world.

Having said that, I don't see anything which invalidates my view. It takes another generation or two before Asians are better represented in government, corporate exec positions, etc. It takes even longer to build legacies that rival those of the old guard white people. Rockerfeller, Carnegie, and even Gates and Hilton took a few generations.

You see "nothing that invalidates your view". Interesting. Even as its proven over and over again that discrimination comes in many different forms......hell studies have shown that people who are not so attractive make a smaller salary then people who are good looking, all other things being equal. So imagine how much better a white person does than an Asian all things being equal. Actually, you don't have to imagine it all......there are numerous studies on the subject.

In any case, if you are foolish enough to defend discrimination or choose to go into denial over it, then go for it. The issue of color doesn't effect my income so its no skin off my nose.
