"what way has our security system "created" any terrorist threats" Invading Iraq? Abu Ghraib? Letting our soldiers put their boots on the necks of detainees in Afghanistan and Iraq? Having our guys just smash down doors in Iraq and Afghanistan without even having people that can speak the language or understand the culture along? Treating Iran like it was a "child" and just scolding it without even offering to talk to it? Treating the Palestinians like they didn't exist? Can you imagine if the U.S. was invaded and a member of your family was dragged out and had somebody put his boot on their neck? Then, you see how U.S. citizens were stripped and piled up in a prison the way our soldiers did at abu Ghraib? If you don't think things like THAT are recruiting a LOT of terrorists then you don't understand human nature.
