And I agree that every single one of them should go home and come back the legal way, but we know THAT isn't going to happen. It is a problem and our country must come up with a solution. I believe we should start by securing both borders completely. A bunch of illegals will be stuck here and we can deal with them then.

I want to do some more reading about how Europe handles cross border employment. Their countries are so much smaller and crossing from one to the other is easy.

My son's got summer jobs at 16.....one worked at Taco Time and the other washed dishes at a local restaurant then cooked at another. But we live in a different state and there weren't so many immigrants, legal or otherwise at that time. I really started noticing a lot of new comers when Clinton was President, and I asked myself then...........where are all of these people coming from, how are they getting here, and when will this stop?

It has to stop. We just have to work together as Americans and figure out how. Personally, I love all of this pressure from average Americans the politicians are getting. I am right there applying my kind.

Peggy has it (pretty much) right. The only thing I would have added is requiring schools to teach American history differently and quit making white men out to be the bad guys.
