It could be. Choosing ignorance usually falls more into the right to freedom of expression than an expression of free will. It could be an expression of 'free-will' if when given the opportunity for greater knowledge you chose ignorance knowing it violates your better nature.

I would not give blanket approval on your question. How do you qualify the subject of 'Creationism'? I suspect you mean religious dogma of a particular supreme being, creating the universe for in a particular way, with particular interests in the outcome, as fact. I doubt I could support that.
