I've been buying GLD and gold/copper/silver miners (NTO, CDE, NXG) for this very reason. Fortunately, I can bide my time with these and wait for the chickens to come home to roost, what irks me, however, is that some garbage stocks have been making huge runs in the meantime. I understand the dollar being propped up, but exactly where is all this money coming from that's blowing hot air into equities? I had little trouble deconstructing the tech bubble, but the current one in the DOW puzzles me. And I have to wonder if this is 1999, or are we only at 1996?
