i watched an interview with Paul and he seemed to say work with Saddams, Al Q. why can't we just talk and get along.? i think he is playing to a different world. Iran , saddam , Al Q. did not want to talk, all want power and take over more territory and eventually hurt usa. I agree we should not be spending the billions of dollars on defense overseas unless the other counties start to cough up some of their share. I expect Afghanistan is still looking for money committed to them by nations several years ago for their defense and rebuild. Paul doesn't give me the feeling of a person who would take the defense of this country as a top priority. I am amazed we have not been bombed in numerous places in this country. We should look at someone who will keep up our defenses and not become passive in this area.
