With the DOW up 1,941.72 points....16.52% above its 2000 all-time high....only 9 component stocks are at ATHs... However, as you know, a narrow advance is not necessarily a good sign for an index... As of the last report Commercials increased their longs even further - which is another way of saying that specks are even shorter. i was trying to find out whether there were any precedents for that in the past. Seems to be most unusual.
