“While the likelihood of passage is slim, the Obey amendments will put all congressmen on the record in favor or in opposition to wasting taxpayers’ dollars. American taxpayers have a right to know which lawmakers can be trusted to be fiscally responsible and which lawmakers cannot.

They forgot, and vote accordingly the next time your rep. comes up for reelection...... Being that earmarks are little more than legalized bribery, they should have nothing to do with passing any bill and should have been done away with long ago. It will be really interesting to see who votes for this.......
