I doubt it....fundamentalists believe the universe was created 6000 years ago. They believe in a garden of Eden, the Great Flood, parting of the Red Sea, and most significantly special creation of human beings.

Since you are not the least bit curious about the possibility of extraterrestial life and are only concerned with the life "specially created" on earth I would expect you to be very conflicted when the discovery is announced. Or am I wrong and you will be excited and happy about it??
